The Association of Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes  (APHNH) is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Ruwan Senatilleke as the new President, along  with a distinguished team of office bearers, following the recent Annual General Meeting.

Dr. Ruwan Senatilleke, the Medical Director at Asiri Central Hospital, brings a wealth of experience and a  visionary approach to his new role as President. Known for his innovative leadership and commitment to  excellence, Dr. Senatilleke is poised to steer the APHNH towards new heights. His extensive healthcare  management background and strategic vision will be instrumental in driving the association’s mission  forward.

Joining Dr. Senatilleke in the leadership team are:

Under Dr. Senatilleke’s dynamic leadership, the APHNH is set to enhance its advocacy efforts, improve  healthcare standards, and support its members in navigating the evolving healthcare landscape. His  presidency marks a new era of innovation and growth for the association.

Dr. Senatilleke expressed his gratitude to the outgoing President and office bearers for their invaluable  contributions, particularly during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. He emphasized the  importance of collaboration and innovation in addressing the current and future challenges faced by the  private healthcare sector.

“I am honored to lead APHNH at this pivotal time,” said Dr. Senatilleke. “Together with our dedicated  team, we will strive to enhance the quality of healthcare services, foster professional development, and  advocate for policies that benefit our members and the communities we serve. My vision is to build on  our strong foundation and drive forward initiatives that will position APHNH as a leading force in the  healthcare sector.”

The APHNH, established in 1972, continues to play a crucial role in representing and supporting private  hospitals and nursing homes across Sri Lanka. The association remains committed to its vision of a robust  and resilient private healthcare sector that complements the public health system and contributes to the  overall health of the nation.
