The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) says there is no move to block access to the internet today(09).
A letter reportedly issued by the TRCSL was circulating on social media claiming service providers were told to allow only voice calls today.
The letter claimed the order was issued on a request made by the defence authorities.
However, TRCSL said that no such directive has been issued.
