Q: HR plays a key role in building a strong hotel culture. How do you contribute to Shangri-La’s values through your work?
A: By prioritizing communication, inclusivity and support. I work closely with all departments to ensure we hire the right people, build a positive work culture and help our team members grow in their careers.
Q: What qualities are essential for women in leadership?
A: Resilience and empathy. Strong leadership means making tough decisions while also inspiring and uplifting those around you.

Q: How did you navigate a traditionally male-dominated field to become a leader in security?
A: It took determination and confidence. My role is about expertise, not gender. I’ve focused on ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests and team, building trust and respect through my work.
Q: What’s the most rewarding part of your role?
A: The ability to ensure that every guest feels safe and that the team knows they’re well-supported. The security of our guests and staff is our top priority and seeing them feel at ease is a powerful reward.
