The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has announced that it has decided to reduce the price of a liter of Lanka white diesel by 10 rupees with effect from 10 pm Monday (August 01).
Accordingly, the new price of a liter of Auto Diesel will be Rs. 430.
The announcement further states that the prices of other types of fuel will remain unchanged.
Accordingly the price of liter of 92 Octane Petrol is Rs. 450, 95 Octane Petrol (Euro 4) is Rs. 540, Super Diesel is Rs. 510 and kerosene is Rs. 87.
Ceypetco further informs that it is mandatory for all filling stations to only issue fuel through the National Fuel Pass, also known as QR Code system, already introduced by the Ministry of Power and Energy.
